Meet Your Pharmacist
Karsten grew up in Hatch, Utah just up the road from Kanab. Karsten joined the military in 2003 and spent 12 years in the Utah Army National Guard in full-time and reserve capacities and spent time in the Middle-East deployed. He’s been married to his wife Janine since 2006 and they have 3 boys. Karsten went to pharmacy school at the University of Wyoming in Laramie, Wyoming to earn a Doctorate of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree. After graduating he completed a one-year pharmacy residency in Casper, Wyoming at the University of Wyoming Family Medicine Residency program, specializing in Ambulatory Care. In 2017 he jumped at the opportunity to move back to Southern Utah and enjoy the red rock landscape of Kanab. He enjoys helping patients with their needs and answering their questions.
